TuneRights at The Creators Conference |
Jonas Björkman |
The Creators Conference was held at Hotel Rival in Stockholm. It was the first international conference arranged by the creators themselves. The conference was divided into three panel discussions:
Which Way? - about future technical choices of paths;
And the Middlemen? - about future key roles in our industry; and
So, do you want it? - about future consumers’ needs.

Many thanks to arrangers Petra and Rassami who organized a fantastic event.
Topics covered at Music4Point5 were diverse and all very relevant for artists and labels. Throughout the event there was a slightly more optimistic feeling than is normal at music industry events.

This is incredible. The mixer has sampled videos that YouTube users have uploaded. Each video is a musical piece or sample on it's own. The producer, Kutiman, has selected samples and loops that fit together and made a musical masterpiece. I feel a nobel prize coming for this guy. hehe...
Now, how should this be copyrighted?? Let's ask the RIAA? Let's ask STIM? I know how TuneRights would manage it. TuneRights would give each contributor a share of any revenue. Simple.
Check it out, the music is great!
